Aboabo Methodist School begs for classrooms

The PTA chairman, Mr. Felix Kwapong Kwao, of the dilapidated Aboabo Methodist School, appeals for a befitting facility. The community leaders and parents have mounted a spirited appeal to organizations and individuals for assistance to replace the currently dilapidated structure serving as a classroom.
They appealed in an interview with Rite FM’s Nenebi Ayertey at Aboabo Methodist School, when a businessman, Mr. Marke Gizo, Donated ten (10) bags of cement to Aboabo Methodist Junior High School.
At a short ceremony at the school, Mr. Augstin Mark Tetteh Gizo noted that the purpose of his support was to encourage the students to improve upon the feats of their seniors.
He said, “We want to encourage the current students to step up their efforts based on what their predecessors have done and to tell the whole world that it doesn’t matter where you are, the best can still come from you once you make the effort.”

He eulogized the past students of the school for their impressive performance in the last BECE, with many of them qualifying for Senior High education.
The Assembly member for Aboabo Community, Hon. Samuel Tettey, added that the classrooms pose a great danger to the children adding that persistent efforts to get the problems addressed through various channels have been unsuccessful.
The headmaster of the Aboabo Methodist junior high School, Mr. Apaloo Solomon, who received the items on behalf of the school, described the donation of the cement as timely to assist in the building of the School.
