Ghanaian politician and prominent NPP member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe prophesied the end of the country in 2016.
He claimed that if the party’s then-flagbearer were elected president, he would be the worst president the country had ever produced. “I don’t believe Akufo-Addo has that trick to pull. He can’t. Ghanaians will learn a bitter lesson of leadership if he wins,” Dr Nyaho Tamakloe stated in a video in 2016.

Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, a founding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), had long held the opinion that Mr. Akufo-Addo would make a poor president of Ghana.
Dr. Tamakloe, who has known Akufo-Addo for more than 40 years, issued a warning to Ghanaians ahead of the 2016 election in a video that was found in the political archives in 2016. He said, “I don’t believe Akufo-Addo has that trick to pull. He can’t. Ghanaians will learn a bitter lesson of leadership if he wins.”

The main programs of the NPP government, free senior high school and one-district-one-factory, are facing significant obstacles.
As they perform their jobs, journalists have also expressed concern about a rising tide of violence and insecurity in society.
In a very odd attempt to clean up the financial industry, numerous institutions were shut down, which resulted in thousands of job losses. Prices have more than doubled in the area of power and other utility charges, with the former facing significant difficulties. The reason for the sporadic power outages has not yet been adequately explained by the government to Ghanaians.
