Even with ‘God’ as the flagbearer, NPP cannot overtake the eight, according to Blakk Rasta

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) cannot win the 2024 general elections to end the typical eight-year curse in office, according to Ghanaian artist and radio host Blakk Rasta.
He pointed out that the current NPP government’s poor handling of the economy is a blatant sign that Ghanaians would not support them for a third term in office.
The outspoken radio host made these comments in light of the internal disputes NPP is facing following the party’s Super Delegates Conference, which resulted in Alan Kyerematen withdrawing from the race for flagbearer over allegations of intimidation. Blakk Rasta criticized the Akufo-Addo-led administration for failing to satisfy Ghanaians in a speech on the UrbandBlend show on 3FM on September 8, 2023. He also asserted that the NPP cannot possibly break the eight (8) as it is saying.
“It is not only Dr. Bawumia who will not be able to break the eight (8). No member of the NPP can break any 8. Even if they [NPP] bring God, who is an NPP member.

“That is, if God is an MPP member and they bring him, there’s no way they can break the 8,” he said.
