According to accounts, John Allister reportedly fled the crime scene with his madam’s car and several of the deceased’s belongings.
According to Nyamekye, John also seized the deceased’s phone and used it to conduct chats while pretending to be the victim and send messages to friends and close associates. “The police really struggled before they were able to go to the house and retrieve the deceased, but I can confirm to Peace News that there is good news that John Allister has been arrested by the police this afternoon, and he is in police custody, assisting in investigations,” Nyamekye stated.
Using handcuffs, John Allister is seen in a social media video being questioned by an anonymous person about the whereabouts of the stolen goods.
In the video, John admits that everything he took from the victim’s home has been sold, and he offers to escort the victim to the buyer of the items since he claims to have the buyer’s contact information.
On September 14, 2023, sports presenter Dan Kwaku Yeboah made startling revelations about the incident. He said the woman known as Efia Ahenkan, alias Princess Efia, was the wife of Reverend Osei Kofi’s son, who is living in London, United Kingdom. According to Kwaku Yeboah’s account of what happened, Princess Efia was allegedly stabbed by her housekeeper, who she had only recently hired.
The death of the wife of the Reverend Osei Kofi’s son, who lives in London, has caused his family much pain. The man hired a housekeeper through an agency because he wanted to give his wife the freedom to conduct her business activities.
”The name of the house help was John Allister and he was paying him through the agency. On Friday, she was having a conversation with her friend when the said friend heard her scream that she has been stabbed. The phone went dead and her number went off so the following day the friend sent a police team to the house in Kumasi,” he said. Dan Kwaku Yeboah continued by describing the crime scene and the condition of the home at the time the police and the aforementioned friend visited it.
“Upon getting to the house, they realized that the dog in the house had been released and the body of the lady was lying in the garage. The car in the garage had been driven away by the house help,” he said.
