Moses Abor, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer, has declared his intention to leave his post on September 18, 2023.

Since taking on this position six years ago, Moses Abor has expressed his sincere thanks for the opportunity.

According to a letter announcing his retirement, Moses Abor worked closely with devoted and enthusiastic people who shared a same aim of furthering the NPP’s ideas and ideals within the Greater Accra Region.

I am writing to formally present my resignation from the post of Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, effective Monday, September 18, 2023, he stated in the letter, which is addressed to the NPP leadership.

“Serving in this capacity for six years has been a tremendous honor and privilege. I have had the good fortune to collaborate with devoted and enthusiastic people who are committed to spreading the values of the New Patriotic Party in the Greater Accra Region. Together, we have accomplished incredible feats and made a substantial contribution to the party’s expansion and reach. He has declared his intention to run for Henry Quartey’s seat as the next member of parliament for the Ayawaso Central Constituency.

“…However, after careful consideration and in adherence to the guidelines set for Party Officers intending to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries, I have decided to pursue the opportunity to represent the party as a parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso Central Constituency.

“This decision has not been made lightly, and I believe that this step aligns with my personal commitment to serve our party and contribute more directly to the legislative process,” he added.
