NPP Responds To Alan Kyerematen’s Resignation

The leadership of the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP, shortly after Alan’s announcement of resigning from the Party, have responded to him.

In a release signed by the national secretary of the NPP, Mr Justin Kodua dated 25th September 2023, and available to https://radiooneghana.com, the NPP leadership takes notice of the resignation but are preparing to fully respond to the decision on Tuesday 26th September, 2023 at 2:00pm.

Resignation of Alan Kyerematen from the New Patriotic Party

The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken notice of the unfortunate decision of Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a long-standing member of the Party to forfeit his membership and contest as an independent presidential candidate in the 2024 general elections.

The Party leadership is by this medium, urging the rank and file of our great Party to remain calm and await an official address by the Party to Mr. Kyerematen’s resignation at 14:00pm on Tuesday September 26, 2023 at the Party headquarters.

Alan feels cheated by his own people and decides to leave the party. However, he decides not to form a political party but run as an independent presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 general election.
