The C.E.O of Zitest Foundation who doubles as co-founder of Zitest Guest House, Mrs Esther Ampofowaa popularly called Mama Esther has waded into philanthropists supporting the poor and needy with different motives
Mama Esther is of view that most politicians pose at philanthropists in supporting the poor and needy in the society only to enhance their political ambitions.
Speaking with Obido on Radio1Ghana 100.7fm, the kindhearted philanthropist revealed that giving without intent of getting anything in return must be a hallmark of those who claim to be philanthropists.
She gave instances where people she thought were supporting the poor were doing wholeheartedly, resorted to canvassing their supports for greater heights in politics.

“Obido, God puts people in a position where they can support others when in need. If you’re helping someone with an intent to benefit from your good then it’s business and not generosity. Such person must not call him/herself a philanthropist. We see people helping others only because they want to become MPs, Assembly Members, Presidents and what have you. No, that’s not a philanthropist, you’re a business man” – Mama Esther
