Delay came to the conclusion that Ernest Opoku Jr. would have been excommunicated if he had belonged to the Church of Pentecost after considering the degree of the “sexual sins” he has committed, particularly as a gospel performer.
Delay questioned whether the gospel singer still possesses the grace and anointing he began his career with as he broached the subject of his sexual encounters with women one after the other.
“Don’t you think that fornication has diminished the grace with which you sing? Do you not believe that the grace with which you sing has diminished as a result of women?” asked Delay.
Ernest said that since he isn’t an angel, it is crucial that he not wallow in his misdeeds.

“I am not an angel. As humans, we make mistakes, we sin but what’s important is not to remain in your sin. You ought to come out of your sin so God can use you again,” he replied.
Delay then made the remark that if Ernest had been a member of the Church of Pentecost, he would still be forced to bear the repercussions of his various sexual adventures. Delay appeared unimpressed by Ernest’s submission at this point.
“But if you were a Pentecost Church member, you would’ve been excommunicated by now,” Delay averred.
In response, Ernest resorted to Mathew chapter 7, where the Bible inhibits people from judging their fellow human beings.
“Don’t judge so you’ll be judged. God will judge you with the same judgment you pass on others,” he stated.
