Raoul Savoy, the head coach of the Central African Republic, expressed his concerns about Ghana’s performance following the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, foreseeing probable challenges for the Black Stars in the forthcoming competition.
The Black Stars won 2-1 over CAR on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium to win their place in the competition, which will take place in Ivory Coast.
Mohammed Kudus’ vital equalizer just before halftime created the conditions for a tightly contested game. Antoine Semenyo and Ernest Nuamah, however, were ultimately responsible for the Black Stars’ victory.
CAR, which placed third in Group E, will regrettably have to wait for another chance to compete in the continental championship as a result of their defeat.

Savoy voiced his opinion that the Black Stars received favorable treatment from the referee and were given several advantages by the officials when he reflected on the game.
He issued a warning that Ghana would experience yet another setback if they repeat their performance from Thursday in Ivory Coast.
Savoy left a warning for reporters in the Baba Yara Stadium press room, saying, “Your next AFCON will be like the last one.”
The Black Stars, managed by Milovan Rajevac, lost in the group stage of the previous AFCON, which was hosted in Cameroon.
They only managed to get one point in their group after losing to Morocco in their first game, drawing with Gabon after that, and ultimately losing to Comoros.
