Prophet Kumchacha, Nicholas Osei, the founder and leader of Heaven Gate Ministries, has revealed how some of the people he once assisted ended up stealing musical instruments from his church.
Recounting the incident, he said that roughly three years prior, a few men had come up to him saying they were homeless after traveling from a town outside of Accra and wanted somewhere to stay the night.Kumchacha revealed that their request moved him, so he let them spend the night in his church. However, the following day, he discovered that they had made off with his instruments
“Some men told me three years ago when they were passing by that they needed a place to sleep because they were from somewhere outside of Accra. I allowed them to stay the night on my church property so they could depart the next day.
“When I went to the church premises the following day, they had taken away my church instruments including a musical keyboard, guitar, microphone and other items which cost about GH¢40,000.“In an interview with Onua TV, Kumchacha stated,He cautioned Ghanaians to exercise extra caution and vigilance when providing assistance to others, using the incident as a point of reference.

“We are not saying people shouldn’t be kind but be careful in doing so. When someone is hungry and asks for food, give it to the person and let him leave. These were people who had nowhere to sleep and I helped. So, we should be careful when helping others.”
Kumchacha made this submission during a discussion on Kuami Eugene and his house help’s controversy.
