Innovative: We constantly strive to redefine the standard of excellence in everything we do.
Honesty & Integrity: We foster strong and lasting relationships by being truthful and authentic in all interactions. We always strive for mindful and consistent actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes.
Background
Nearly a year ago, when I came home from USA, I took some strolls across the streets, towns and communities in the districts. I had a few encounter with people, colleagues, friends and relatives. I didn’t know why but after a thorough reflection on my engagement with them, I realized they all were speaking the same language.
While others complained of poverty, unemployment, some talk about lack of support for those already in business.
I also saw school going people roaming around whiles their colleagues were in school, some going for galamsey and others selling coconut 🥥 with excuses to support their parents. I know that’s child labour but what else could I do.
I kept pondering on these and decided to support those I could in my own small way. I did what I could but wished to extend my support.
In view of this, I discussed with my husband and my children and we all decided to establish a foundation to do these.
We arrived at choosing ZITEST FOUNDATION, which is a combination of my our names; my lovely understanding husband, Zito and myself (Esther).
We have decided to use this foundation to do our possible best in supporting development in our communities. i.e. Education, Girl Child Empowerment, Youth and Women Unemployment, and other social development.
I therefore use this opportunity to call on all home and abroad to support the course. The course of poverty alleviation.
Together we can make it. Together we will get there.
ZITEST Foundation – Let’s Help Each Other.
God bless you all for coming to support us.
