Mankessim residents in fears as unidentified man found dead along Mankessim to Cape Coast road

An unidentified man believed to be in his 70s has been found dead along the Mankessim to Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
The incident on Wednesday morning has left residents of Volta Bar, a suburb of Mankessim gripped with fear and panic.
Residents say they woke up Wednesday morning only to see the lifeless body of the deceased at the roadside.
Some residents in an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, said they had an encounter with the deceased days ago but all attempts to locate his house proved futile as he (the deceased) failed to answer their questions
According to them, they saw the deceased earlier on very sick but found him dead the next day Wednesday February 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, the Assembly Member for New Nkusukum Electoral Area Hon.Ali Abubakari Amoah has indicated that police assistance is being sought to find the family of the deceased.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Saltpond Government hospital mortuary for autopsy, preservation and identification.
