NPP to hold emergency meeting

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be holding an emergency National Executive Committee Committee (NEC) on Friday, February 23.
This was announced by General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong in a statement on Thursday, February 22.
The discussion is expected to center on the work of the party’s manifesto committee and also the changes to the leadership of the Majority in Parliament.
The Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu resigned from his post on Wednesday. He has also been appointed chairman of the manifesto committee for the 2024 general elections.

“I extend to you warm greetings from the National Secretariat of the Party. By the order of the National Chairman, Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, you are hereby notified that there will be an emergency National Council meeting on Friday, February 23, 2024.
“Kindly find below the following information for your consideration: The National Council (NC) meeting is scheduled as follows: Date: Friday, February 23, 2024.”
