Retired police officer DCOP Kwesi Ofori appointed by Bawumia to NPP manifesto sub cttee on security

A Retired Police Officer, DCOP Samuel Kwesi Ofori, has been appointed by the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)  Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to serve on the security sub-committee of the NPP’s 2024 manifesto drafting committee.

He is serving on the sub-committee with persons including Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul, Ambrose Dery and Henry Quartey, former and current Interior Ministers respectively, and others.

Dr. Bawumia has also appointed renowned economist Kwame Pianim to serve as an advisor to the economy cub committee.

This was contained in the full list of the 2024 Manifesto committee signed by the communications director of the campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye.

Dr Bawumia charged the committee to engage all stakeholders extensively in the formulation of the Manifesto.

Former Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Dr Mark Assibey-Yeboah has been appointed to the chair of the manifesto sub-committee on the economy.

The former Chair of the Finance Committee in Parliament was among the list of persons selected to play key roles in the drafting of the NPP’s 2024 manifesto released on Wednesday, February 21.

Also, former General Secretary Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has been appointed to chair the sub-committee on housing and infrastructure.

The entire manifesto committee is charged by Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu.
