Scores of people have been stuck in elevators after electricity power supply to Parliament was discconected Thursday morning, 29th February 2024.
This was revealed by Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah who warned MPs to be cautious about using the elevators.
Majority Chief whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh however faulted the Elembelle MP for bringing the matter to the floor in the middle of debate on President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address.
According to him, the development ought to have been reported to the marshall’s office.
Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah however defended his action explaining he was only warning his colleague MPs.
