Great Olympics cruised to a convincing 2-0 victory over Heart of Lions on Saturday at the WAFA Park in Sogakope, courtesy of a brace from Yusif Razak.
The win saw Olympics rise to sixth place on the Ghana Premier League table, while Lions remained in the bottom three of the standings.
Razak opened the scoring for Olympics inside three minutes, firing a thunderous shot from distance that left the Lions goalkeeper with no chance.

The early goal gave Olympics the impetus to take control of the game, dictating the pace of play and fashioning several scoring opportunities.
The second half saw Olympics continue to dominate proceedings, with Razak grabbing his second goal of the game in the 62nd minute.

The forward capitalised on a long pass, beat his defender, and deftly lobbed the advancing goalkeeper to seal the win for his side.

Lions, who had been unbeaten under new coach Bashir Hayford, suffered a rare defeat, leaving them still struggling to escape the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Olympics’ confidence-boosting victory extended their winning run in the second round and lifted them up the table.
