Tragic Accident on Accra-Kumasi Highway: Diesel Tanker fire claims one life

A devastating accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway resulted in a fatality when a diesel tanker caught fire following a collision with a taxi. The incident occurred near the Pacific Filling Station, just a few meters from Bunso Junction.

The tanker, reportedly experiencing brake failure, lost control and came to an abrupt halt. A taxi, unable to avoid the tanker, crashed into it, sparking a massive fire. Emergency services responded swiftly, but the blaze was intense.

Tragically, the taxi driver lost his life in the collision. The identities of the victims have not yet been released, and the cause of the tanker’s brake failure is under investigation.
