2024 Elections: Abuakwa South NCCE inaugurates inter-party dialogue committee to promote peace

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Abuakwa South Municipal, Kyebi, has organized a program to promote peace during the 2024 elections.
This event is part of their efforts, held every four years, to ensure peaceful elections in the area and the country.
At the inauguration of the Inter-Party Dialogue Committee, Mr. Eyram Lander Flawotso, the NCCE Director for Abuakwa South Municipal, shared his concerns about money in politics.
He said, “Money in politics is something that’s worrying us when it comes to elections. Money given to voters on election day is affecting our democracy.”

He also stressed the importance of avoiding disinformation and misinformation. We should avoid spreading false information because it can have serious consequences for our country. “We should avoid disinformation and misinformation because it can cause our country very bad to live in,” he added.
The program aims to raise awareness about these issues and encourage peaceful and fair elections in 2024.
