During the MTN media and stakeholders, engagement at Koforidua in the Dwabeng South Municipality of the Eastern Region, Madam Georgina Fiagnenu who’s the Head of the corporate communication unit of the Mobile telecommunication network uttered that, MTN’s AMBITION 2025 is a strategic key which includes objectives like; leading digital solution for Africa Progress, Doubling the number of MTN customers, Increases MTN network coverage, Enhances customers experience, Grow MTN in tech and digital service among others.
Madam Georgina Asare Fiagbenu continues to indicate that,” their network rollout aims to give technological excellent, touching life through MTN Ghana foundation and deliver 75% of its project in information and communication technology which relates to Healthcare, Education, Gender gab 50/50 and Economic Empowerment activities”.
In line with this, the Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP, Emmanuel Twumasi Ankra said “The police administration will steadfast to provide a conducive environment for MOMO operators”.
He also stated that “momo fraud will reduce to the barest minimum”.

The new manager in charge of Regional sales in the southeast, Peter Bimpeh said: “Protecting customers is key in every business, and MTN is putting in much effort to ensure momo fraud becomes a thing of the past”.
He added that MTN collaborates with the Police to ensure that perpetrators of momo crime are brought to book.
