Four more Democracy Hub protesters discharged

The Accra Circuit Court has dismissed charges against four additional protesters from the Democracy Hub following the state’s decision to withdraw the case.
The prosecution informed the court that new charges had been filed to replace the original ones from September 25.
The individuals released are Cedric Bansah, Emmanuel Offei, Nana Amo Mensah Prempeh, and Thomas Yeboah.
This brings the total number of protesters discharged to 11 as the court continues to address cases stemming from the Democracy Hub demonstrations.

A total of 53 protesters were arrested during the three-day protest, which took place from September 21 to September 23. Seven protesters were previously discharged on Tuesday, October 22.
