Former President John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to introduce the “Adwuma Wura” policy in his next administration to provide opportunities and support for the youth.
Speaking in an interview on Sunrise FM, monitored by RadioOneGhana.com, Mr. Mahama explained that the policy is designed to create a favorable environment for youth businesses to thrive and to inspire hope among the younger generation.
“The next NDC government will roll out the Adwuma Wura policy to give the youth hope and improve youth businesses. It’s time we prioritize their potential and give them the tools they need to succeed,” he said.
He highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in addressing youth unemployment and fostering economic growth.

The former president assured that the policy would include access to funding, skills training, and mentorship programs aimed at equipping young people to start and expand their businesses.
