Former President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to restoring Ghana’s economy if elected in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking during an interview on Sunrise FM monitored by Radiooneghana.com, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer acknowledged the nation’s current economic challenges but expressed confidence in his ability to address them effectively.
“I know the economy is messed up, but trust me, I will fix it,” Mahama assured.
He stated his plans to implement policies aimed at reviving industries, creating sustainable jobs, and addressing the rising cost of living. The former president also reiterated his belief in transparency and accountability, vowing to ensure good governance under his leadership.
