Former President John Dramani Mahama has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for imposing 40 taxes on Ghanaians, stating that these policies have made it difficult for businesses to thrive and have adversely affected the economy.
Speaking in an interview on Sunrise FM, monitored by RadioOneGhana.com, Mr. Mahama expressed his disappointment in the current administration’s approach to taxation, emphasizing its impact on the business environment.
“The NPP has imposed 40 taxes on Ghanaians, making it hard for businesses to come to Ghana and affecting our economy,” he stated.
