Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed optimism about his return to power, promising to address the country’s economic challenges. Speaking during an interview on Sunrise FM, Mr. Mahama confidently declared, “Insha Allah, I will be sworn in on January 7, 2025, as president.”
Acknowledging the current state of Ghana’s economy, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer assured Ghanaians of his capability to restore stability and growth. “I know the economy is messed up, but trust me, I will fix it,” he said, emphasizing his determination to tackle pressing financial issues affecting the nation.
Mr. Mahama outlined his vision for a transformative government focused on creating jobs, reducing debt, and improving the quality of life for Ghanaians. He called on citizens to trust in his leadership and vision as the nation approaches the crucial 2024 elections.
