The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Fanteakwa South District is taking proactive steps to ensure peaceful elections through their “Interfaith Engagement for Peaceful Polls” initiative. This program aims to promote issues like money in politics, religious and ethnic tolerance, misinformation, disinformation, and electoral violence.

As part of this effort, the District Inter-Party Dialogue Committee (IPDC) Chairman, Catheist Dickson Odame, emphasized the importance of religious and ethnic tolerance during his visit to the Osino Central Mosque. He stressed the need for peaceful coexistence before, during, and after the elections.

Additionally, Mr. Asamoah, the Organiser for the District IPDC, met with selected youth groups, urging them not to be tools for electoral violence by politicians. The District Director for NCCE in Fanteakwa South District, Mr. Kwadwo Adu-Asare, also played a key role in this initiative.
