Polls close in Ghana as counting set to begin

It’s 17:00 GMT and polls nationwide has closed in Ghana’s elections as the country awaits the counting process to determine who emerges the new President.
The electorate already in the queue before the closing time can still cast their ballot.
John Dramani Mahama who is seeking a comeback after two previous setbacks goes head-to-head with Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of the ruling party, making a first time attempt at the Presidency.
