Former President and President-Elect, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has paid a courtesy visit to Opayin Abraham Adusei, the founder and leader of the Savior Church of Ghana, at Osiem in the Eastern Region.
The visit was to express his heartfelt gratitude to the church and its members for their prayers and unwavering support, which he believes contributed to his resounding victory in the just-ended 2024 general election.
During the meeting, Mr. Mahama shared his appreciation for the spiritual backing he received, noting that their prayers gave him strength throughout the campaign period.
“I am here to say a big thank you to you, the leadership of the church, and all its members for standing with me in prayer. Your support has been a great source of inspiration,” he said.

Opayin Abraham Adusei congratulated Mr. Mahama on his victory and prayed for wisdom and strength as he prepared to lead the nation again.
The church members expressed their joy over Mr. Mahama’s success and pledged their continued support for his leadership.
The visit ended with prayers for the President-elect and the country as a whole, as everyone looked forward to a new chapter under his leadership.
