The Communications Team of the Presidency has refuted claims of releasing a third batch of ministerial nominees, describing the reports as ‘false and misleading.’

The claims featured names of several prominent members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including some serving Members of Parliament.

Notable mentions included Rashid Pelpuo, allegedly designated as Minister for the Interior; Muntaka Mubarak, purportedly nominated as Minister for Transport; and Sam George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, who was reportedly listed as Minister-Designate for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation, among others.

The Office of the President has clarified that these reports are entirely untrue, emphasising that no official announcement has been made regarding a third batch of ministerial nominees.
