The people of Akim Adukrom gathered excitedly for a victory party organized by Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The event was held to show appreciation to the community for their strong support in the recent elections, which contributed to the party’s success.
Addressing the people, Hon. Ofosu Ampofo expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Akim Adukrom played a vital role in the NDC’s victory. We came here to say a big thank you to you all.” He emphasized that the NDC is not just a big party in Ghana but also has a strong presence outside the country.
He praised President John Dramani Mahama, noting the significant changes he has made within just one week of being in office. “Since the NDC came to power, you can feel the good air around us. President Mahama has already started putting things in place to improve the nation, and I am confident we are heading in the right direction,” he said.
