In today’s world, young girls face immense societal pressures that can shape their confidence, decision-making, and self-worth. To help them navigate these challenges with integrity and purpose, Care for Society Network International (CfSNI) has launched a transformative workshop, Positive Character and Morality Affirmations. This initiative is designed to nurture the values and mindsets of high school girls, empowering them to become confident, responsible, and resilient leaders.
The workshop focuses on building self-awareness, positive self-image, and moral integrity through core affirmations such as “I am Focused,” “I am Determined,” “I am Responsible,” and “I Value Myself.” These affirmations are more than just words; they serve as guiding principles to shape everyday decisions and long-term life goals.
Building Resilient Leaders Through Action
Speaking about the initiative, Mrs. Anita Ampofoa Amoako-Gyimah, Founder of CfSNI, emphasized the importance of instilling strong values in young girls. “We believe that the foundation of a strong, ethical society lies in the values we instill in our young girls today. By helping them see their potential and understand the importance of integrity, we’re not just shaping individuals; we’re influencing the future of our communities.”

The workshop featured interactive sessions that encouraged participants to identify their strengths, overcome the fear of failure, and build healthy relationships. Practical strategies were also shared on maintaining focus, setting goals, and developing resilience in the face of challenges.
One of the participants, 16-year-old Ama, shared her personal transformation after the workshop. “I used to doubt myself a lot, especially when I faced challenges. But now, I tell myself ‘I am determined’ every day, and it gives me the courage to keep pushing forward.”
Addressing Social Pressures and Promoting Integrity
In an era where young people are exposed to increasing peer pressure and social media-driven insecurities, the workshop emphasized making decisions based on values rather than emotions. The program’s focus on responsibility and self-worth resonated deeply with the girls, helping them build the confidence to resist negative influences.
“We taught the girls to set healthy boundaries, practice gratitude, and become role models in their communities,” Mrs. Amoako-Gyimah added. “Our goal is to create a ripple effect where these girls inspire their peers, families, and communities.”
A Call to Action for a Brighter Future
The event concluded with a powerful call to action, urging the girls to commit to daily practices that reinforce positive character. Participants wrote down specific actions they would take to embody the affirmations and partnered with peers for accountability.
As CfSNI continues its mission of empowering young women, the organization is optimistic that such initiatives will contribute to a future where integrity, self-worth, and moral responsibility become the foundation of leadership in communities across Ghana and beyond.
Looking ahead, CfSNI is preparing for the Femmes Impact: Leadership & Empowerment Summit 2025, which aims to expand its impact and equip even more young women with the skills, values, and confidence to not only build successful careers but also lead morally grounded and socially responsible lives.
