Chairman Joe, the Communication Officer of Ashaiman Constituency for the NDC, and Chairman Serial Callers And Texters Association, is advocating for Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo to be appointed as a Board Chairman, citing his exceptional track record and dedication to the party.

Ofosu Ampofo, the former National Chairman of the NDC, has been instrumental in supporting the party, particularly during their time in opposition. He said this during an interview on Ahotor fm’s Adekye Mu Nsem program with Citizen Kofi Owusu.

Chairman Joe emphasizes that Ofosu Ampofo’s new role as Political Adviser to Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is not befitting of his stature. Instead, he proposes that President John Mahama consider appointing Ofosu Ampofo as a Board Chairman, which would enable him to secure funding and support the party’s grassroots.

Interestingly, Ofosu Ampofo is among ten individuals appointed by President Mahama to the Office of the Vice President, with various roles assigned to support the “Resetting Ghana” agenda. While some have expressed dissatisfaction with Ofosu Ampofo’s new role on social media, Chairman Joe’s endorsement highlights the former Chairman’s value to the party and the grassroots as a whole.
