Atiwa East Deputy Market Queen Backs Mahama, Urges Traders to Reduce Prices

Anyinam, Eastern Region – The Deputy Market Queen Mother of the Anyinam Market in the Atiwa East Constituency, Mama Atta, has expressed strong confidence in former President John Dramani Mahama, stating that she believes he will deliver excellently if elected.

Speaking on the Radio1 Morning Show, Mama Atta called on traders to consider reducing the prices of goods and commodities following the recent depreciation of the US dollar.

“The dollar is going down, so we must also show compassion to the public by reducing our prices,” she urged.

She also used the platform to highlight some of the challenges market women face, including poor infrastructure and lack of proper storage facilities, calling on authorities to come to their aid.
