I will support your drug abuse fight – Kingsley Agyeman tells George Opare-Addo

Dr. Kingsley Agyeman, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, has expressed his strong support for Hon. George Opare-Addo, the National Youth Organiser of the NDC, in the fight against the dangerous drug known as “red.” Speaking on Radio 1’s Ayekoo Drive Time Show, Dr. Agyeman said he believes in Hon. Opare-Addo’s commitment and is ready to support efforts to stop the spread of drug abuse among the youth, especially the use of red.

He explained, “As far as the Red issue has been popping up in Ghana, and it has been a toxic problem to our youth, he urged everyone to take part so that we can fight against red.”

Dr. Agyeman also revealed that as the MP for Abuakwa South, he plans to sponsor a public awareness campaign in his constituency. He will fund the production of radio adverts that will be aired on both Radio 1 and Susu Bribi FM to educate people about the dangers of red.

He promised the people of Ghana, “It will not take long, but they will hear the jingle playing on Radio 1 concerning the red issues in Ghana.”

In conclusion, he said, “If the jingle has started playing on Radio 1…, the people should know that it is Dr Kingsley Agyaman who has given that opportunity to the station to announce on the red issues.”
