Madam Ivy Asofah Adjei, Registrar for the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) in Fanteakwa South, has issued a strong warning to guardians and caregivers who live with other people’s children.
Speaking on the Radio1 Morning Show, Madam Ivy urged such individuals to treat the children in their care with kindness and dignity. She emphasized that any form of abuse or neglect would not be tolerated and that the law would deal swiftly with offenders.
“Parents and guardians must understand that these children have rights, and any maltreatment will attract legal consequences,” she stressed.
Her call comes amid rising concerns over child abuse cases in some communities.
