Cedi Appreciation: Sand prices reduced

Nana Sarpong Alexander, Regional Chairman of the Sand and Stones of Tipper Trucks Workers Union (NASSOWOTU), has announced a reduction in the price of sand.
Speaking on Radio1, he said the price has been reduced by GH¢100 due to recent improvements in the economy. He attributed this decision to the good governance of former President John Dramani Mahama, citing the recent drop in fuel prices and the appreciation of the cedi against the dollar.
According to him, the union believes it is only fair to pass the benefits of these economic changes on to the public
