MTN working to improve network quality in Eastern Region – Samuel Duku

Samuel Duku, the MTN Regional Technical Manager for the Eastern, Volta, and Oti Regions, has revealed that MTN Ghana is actively working to improve the quality of its network services in the Eastern Region.

Speaking in an interview with Radio1, Mr. Duku explained that the company is expanding its existing infrastructure to meet the growing demand for reliable connectivity.

“The existing towers you see around, we are trying to increase the capacity of those ones, so that we get a good service to our customers,” he said.

He further noted that the ongoing upgrades will significantly enhance user experience.

“The activities will increase the capacity four times, so that customers will enjoy the quality of data and quality of voice,” he added.

Mr. Duku also disclosed that the improvement works will cover about 290 sites across the region.

The move forms part of MTN’s broader efforts to ensure customers in the Eastern Region have access to fast, reliable, and high-quality network services.
