Fanteakwa South NDC Chairman Commends President Mahama for Bringing Development to Deprived Communities.

The constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Fanteakwa South Mr. Mark Okraku Tenkorang,has applauded President John Mahama’s government for demonstrating truthfulness and commitment to improve the lives of Ghanaians especially in the deprived communities in his area.

Speaking to the media, Chairman Okraku Praised the government for releasing funds under the District Assemblies Common Fund, which has enabled several development projects to commence across the Fanteakwa South District.

According to him, under the leadership of the district chief Executive (DCE)Hon.Mercy Akosua Korang ,the district is going to witness significant progress through the provision of school infrastructure, Community-based Health Planning and services (CHIPS)compounds, Potable drinking water and improvement to poor road network.

He noted that communities such as Subrima, Ayesubesia,Dadetsunya, Ehiamekyene,Nsutam and Dahoma were previously neglected under the past administration but now benefits from the ongoing project initiated by the current government.

He therefore recalled that during the 2024 general election campaign, the NDC pledge to construct three -unit classroom block at Dadetsunya, Ayesubesia and Subrima(Nkankama) as well as to renovate the salvation Army school at Abompe.

He expressed delight that the government has fulfilled these promises as part of the recently disbursed Common Fund.

He moreover accused Previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration of failing to deliver on its promises, adding that,” It is only when the NDC is in power that Fanteakwa South witness real development in the area and the country as a whole”. He accused.

He therefore extended his appreciation to President Mahama and the DCE Hon.Mercy Akosua Korang for their selfless and dedication leadership, which he said is transforming the lives of people in the district.

He finally urged residents of Fanteakwa South and Ghanaians at large to have faith in President Mahama’s administration, assuring them that every community within the district will receive it fair share of the development within the four -year term.
