A member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Regional Communications Team, Nana Ofosu-Asante Twum, has criticized former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, saying he could not create an economic empire for himself during his time in office, yet now wants to become the flagbearer of the NPP.

Speaking on Radio 1’s morning show with Nana Kwabena Addo, Nana Ofosu-Asante Twum questioned Alan Kyerematen’s record as Trade Minister, claiming that his performance did not reflect the qualities needed to lead the party and the nation. Alankyerenateng couldn’t create empire for himself when he was trade minister to become a flagbearer in NPP.

According to him, leadership is about delivering results and showing competence, not just making promises. He added that the NPP needs a leader who has a proven record of achievements and dedication to the party’s growth.

Nana Ofosu-Asante Twum urged party members to support candidates who have demonstrated true commitment and results in their service to the party and the country.
