Akyem Juaso chief holds fundraising to support educational fund

The Barima Kofi Osei Amanianpong II Educational Fund has once again taken center stage at Akyem Juaso, as the traditional council and residents gathered for a grand fundraising event held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Akyem Juaso Durbar Grounds.
The program, organized under the theme “Empowering Minds, Transforming Lives: Investing in Education for a Brighter Tomorrow,” sought to mobilize resources to sustain the educational fund established by Barima Kofi Osei Amanianpong II, the Chief of Akyem Juaso.
In his address, Barima Kofi Osei Amanianpong II emphasized that since the educational fund was launched last year, several individuals have benefited through both academic support and skills training programs. He noted that the initiative has already started transforming lives and pledged his continuous commitment to promoting education as a key driver of community development.
The chief also appealed to civil society organizations, corporate bodies, philanthropists, and all well-meaning individuals to contribute towards sustaining the educational fund to secure the future of the youth.

Rev. Omari Isaac, who represented Mr. A. Akorsah-Addo, the Fanteakwa South Education Director, commended the chief for his outstanding dedication to education. He particularly lauded Barima Kofi Osei Amanianpong II for constructing an ultramodern Kindergarten for the community, stressing the importance of early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning and national development.
Some residents also expressed their appreciation to the chief for prioritizing education, describing him as a visionary and development-oriented leader. They noted that within just a year of establishing the educational fund, tangible results are already visible, with more children gaining access to quality education and skills training opportunities.
The colorful event drew community members, stakeholders in education, and dignitaries who pledged their continued support to ensure the sustainability of the fund, which is transforming the educational landscape of Akyem Juaso.
