NAIMOS Conducts Dawn Operation, Arrests 36 Suspected Illegal Miners at Osino, Radiooneghana.com reports.
The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) has carried out a massive dawn operation in the Eastern Region, leading to the arrest of 36 suspected illegal miners at Osino in the Fanteakwa South District.
Those arrested include 32 Nigerien nationals and 4 Ghanaians who were allegedly engaged in illegal mining activities along the Birim River.
