Addressing the youth, Daasebre Kantamanto II urged them to shun social vices and embrace moral uprightness, emphasizing that discipline, hard work, and good character are vital for building a prosperous and fulfilling life.
He further called on all citizens to uphold the customs and traditions of Kwabeng and contribute meaningfully to both local and national development.
On behalf of the queen mothers, the Daasebrehemaa passionately appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to promote peace among traditional leaders and actively involve them in key decision-making processes, particularly in the mining sector. She also called for the release of unused state-acquired lands to chiefs to enable development projects within their traditional jurisdictions.
