LIFTING OF CURFEW IN BINDURI TOWNSHIP AND ITS ENVIRONS, UPPER EAST REGION

The Minister for the Interior, acting on the advice of the Upper East Regional Security Council and in accordance with an Executive Instrument, has lifted the curfew imposed on Binduri Township and its surrounding areas in the Upper East Region, with immediate effect.
This decision follows the restoration of peace and improved security conditions in the area.
Government commends traditional authorities, opinion leaders, the youth, and residents for their cooperation and continued commitment to peace. All stakeholders are further urged to exercise restraint and to adopt non-violent approaches in addressing any challenges, in the collective interest of sustaining peace and stability in the area.
