The Inspired by Asor Foundation has honoured 60 outstanding students drawn from 14 schools in the Fanteakwa South District with Academic Excellence Awards, in a move aimed at promoting education and motivating young talents.

The awards ceremony was spearheaded by the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the foundation, Mrs. Nancy Asor Asiedu-Amrado. Addressing the students, she shared her personal journey, noting that she hails from the Samang and Hemang communities within the district. She urged the awardees to take their education seriously and remain committed to their academic pursuits.
Mrs. Asiedu-Amrado emphasized that her success has been driven by hard work, dedication, perseverance, and faith, encouraging the students to adopt similar values in achieving their goals.

The 2026 edition of the programme was held in line with the celebration of International Women’s Day under the theme “Give to Gain.” The initiative also provided mentorship and inspiration, particularly to young girls, to empower them to pursue education with determination.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the District Health Director for Fanteakwa South, Madam Stella Konadu; School Improvement Support Officer for the Osino Circuit, Madam Rebecca Essuman, who represented the District Director of Education; and Public Health Officer, Madam Adelaide Easel. They collectively advised students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to their studies.
