The Eastern Regional Manager of the Water Resource Commission Ghana (WRC) Ronald Abrahams has said that 83 percent of Ghanaian water bodies are clean.
According to Ronald Abrahams, the perception that all our water bodies in Ghana are down the drain is not true.
“83 percent of our water bodies are clean, only 17 percent is not good even that we are working hard to get it back so we should kill the perception that all our water bodies are not good,” he said on Radio 1 ‘Our Land Our Future’ program.
He added that we should all help to protect our water bodies because finding a permanent solution to a problem requires work; a lot of hard work which we are not prepared to do. That is why we always react to events instead of taking initiative.
