Black Stars ‘General Captain striker Asamoah Gyan has intensified training ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt later this month.
Ghana’s all-time highest goalscorer was included in coach Kwesi Appiah’s 29-man provisional squad to commence camping in Dubai.
Gyan, who had a topsy-turvy season at Kayserispor has stepped up his training to catch up with his fitness before the tournament begins on June 21.
The former Sunderland frontman played 258 minutes for the Turkish side, featuring in 14 games and scoring fours in the process
