“We Have Not Received Any Formal Letter” – MTN Ghana Responds To NCA’s Monopoly Claim

The telecommunication giant in Ghana, Mobile Telephone Network (MTN), has in a statement issued today, revealed that even as there are reports viral in the media to have come from the National Communication Authority to implement a policy in the coming days which will see to it that all telecommunication networks are given equal play grounds to operate, MTN Ghana is yet to officially receive a letter from NCA on that initiative.

That not withstanding, the giant network added that the company is ready to welcome the initiative from the reputable authority based on legislation.

“MTN Ghana respects the NCA’s purview to regulate the telecommunication sector in Ghana based on legislation and best practices. However, MTN Ghana has not yet received the formal notification from the regulator and awaits this to assess the details”. – the statement reads 

MTN Ghana in the press release assured their able customers to stay calm as long as they are in waiting for the directive from the NCA.

It is of no doubt that MTN Ghana has taken over Ghana in terms of providing quality services to its clients and MTN is ubiquitous just as its slogan says. Ghanaians are also in waiting for this new policies and how they would be implemented.
