In as much as most people dream of having a garage to sell cars or become car dealers, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of E. K. car rentals, Mr Evans Kwofie is of the view that at a good location, car rentals is a better business than Selling them.
According tom him, the cost of renting a car is far below the cost of buying it for which reason most people can afford the rent than buying.
Moreover, Mr Evans Kwofie added that car sales are not frequent and may not fetch more money within the week or month other than the rental business.
He then revealed that the state of the road is affecting the business as they will have to spend the money generated on maintenance.

“Car Rental is good and when you get a good location, it will fetch you more money. No matter what someone will rent a car in the week but difficult to sell a car in a week. But the road network is poor and we have to spend all we get on maintenance and that has been a challenge” – Mr Evans Kwofie expressed.
He used the opportunity to advise road users to be very careful on the road so as to avoid road crashes especially in the rainy season.
