Tell The Gov’t Poultry Farmers Are Suffering – C.E.O of DansoTeo Agro

The shortage of maize in Ghana burdens a whole lot of individuals, families and institutions but the poultry farmers are most hit with its effects.

The delay in resolving the menace has paved way for the C.E.O of DansoTeo Agro Foundation to wade into the canker.

According to the farmer, poultry farmers are most hit and thereby making their business less lucrative. Mr Paul Danso, revealed that if critical decisions are not taken anytime soon, poultry farming in Ghana would collapse and there would be shortage of Eggs and chicken in the country.

“Poultry farming is now becoming less lucrative and the farmers are facing a lot of challenges. The shortage of maize has caused a lot of mess in the poultry industry but there is no one there to speak for us. We are not getting profits anymore. Government is not helping us. Just ask if any poultry farmer got support when the industry was hit by Birdflu. Please tell the government Poultry farmers are suffering” – C.E.O. of DansoTeo Agro foundation.

He added that it’s about time the nation hears the cries of poultry farmers and provide the necessary supports for them.
