World Cup Playoffs: Super Eagles names strong squad to face Ghana

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have named a strong squad as they start preparation to face the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of this month’s World Cup qualifiers.

In a tweet, the Super Eagles released the squad on Friday, March 4, 2022.

The first leg will take place on March 25 in Ghana and the second leg will take place on March 29 in Nigeria.

Goalkeeper: Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho, Daniel Akpeyi

Defenders: William Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Zaidu Sanusi and Shehu Abdullahi.

Midfielders: Wilfred Ndidi, Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Akinkunmi Amoo.

Forwards: Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Sadiq Umar, Kelechi Iheanacho, Emmanuel Dennis and Ademola Lookman.
