ERMEA : Radio 1 bags 11 nominations in the maiden edition

Radio 1 part of Universal Multimedia has baged 10 nomination in the Eastern Region Media Excellence Media Awards (ERMEA) 2017.

The maiden edition of Ernest Ointment Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards(ERMEA) was launched on Monday July 3, 2017 to unveil the nominees for this year’s awards.

The event which comes off on August 5, 2017 at Linda Door Plaza-Koforidua aims at awarding excellence in radio in the region.

These are the various categories Radio 1 100.7 secured.

1. Morning Show Host of the year          – CAPTAIN KOFI OWUSUS
2. Mid Morning Show Host of the year  – AKOSUA SAKYIBEA
3. Social Program of the year                   – MMARIMA AHYIA
4. DJ of the year                                          – DJ TYMA
5. Most Valuable Presenter of the year   – BISHOP AGBE JNR
6. Female Presenter of the year                – AKOSUA SAKYIBEA
7. Entertainment Show Of The Year       –  ENTERTAINMENT TODAY
8. Late Afternoon Show Of The Year       – AYEKOO
9.  Radio Station Of The Year                    – RADIO 1 GHANA
10. Record Promoter Of The Year               – MR KING
11. Uncovered Personality Of The Year    – ODAME AGYARE
